Welcome to Woodland Maltese. We are Maltese breeders, that specializes in breeding beautiful top quality Maltese dogs. We have a small Maltese breeding program and occasionally have Maltese puppies for sale.

Woodland Maltese is located in East Central Minnesota. We have been breeding and showing Maltese dogs for over 20 years, and are proud to have produced several American Kennel Club (AKC) Champions.

Each breeding is carefully planned, selecting dogs that compliment each other. Although we breed for the show ring, not all our Maltese puppies can be shown, so we offer them for sale as pets.

On this site you can view pictures of our adult Maltese dogs, along with any Maltese puppies we may have for sale. We have also included valuable information about the Maltese, and its care. Our goal is produce quality Maltese puppies that are beautiful, happy, and healthy. We strive to breed to theAKC Standard for the Maltese Toy Breed, with the correct size and temperament. Because the health and well being of our Maltese are very important to us, we only breed Maltese dogs with no known genetic defects.

Our Maltese puppies are sold at 12 weeks of age and come with at least two sets of shots. They are sold with a verterinarian certificate of health, puppy care kit and pedigree. Every Maltese puppy is raised in our home as a pet, therefore, they are well socialized by the time they are ready for their new home.

Why Buy an AKC Registered Maltese Puppy?

AKC is the only registry that requires a DNA test. This process assures the dogs parentage verification and genetic identity. This also creates reliable registration records.

AKC is also the only registry that does kennel inspections. This is to ensure healthy living conditions and proper record keeping.
